Monica Yun
OCMA's Director
I got my Bachelors of Music in Composition with emphasis in Film Scoring at USC Thornton School of Music. I taught piano privately for almost 15 years, and had to quit after having 3 children so I could homeschool them and be with them full-time. We've been in OCMA ever since my first daughter was in kindergarten, so about 7 years. I have helped with pit for marching band and drumline, am the accompanist for the Kingdom and Magnum choir, and will now be teaching piano at Village. I have a passion for passing on the love of music to the younger generation, for them to be able to express themselves through music. I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve other homeschooling families in this way!
